57% Tax Reduction on Miami Beach Property

The 2004 property tax assessment on 516 15 Street near Washington Avenue in Miami Beach was reduced from $1,000,000 to $430,000. This 57% reduction was ordered by the Miami-Dade County Value Adjustment Board Special Magistrate after considering evidence presented by the taxpayer and the Property Appraiser. The taxpayer obtained reductions on both land and improvements for this mulitfamily residential property and was represented by property tax attorney Daniel A. Weiss. Tax savings approximate $15,000.

Daniel A. Weiss has over 24 years property tax experience. Mr. Weiss represented the Miami-Dade County taxing authorities in litigation and appeals between 1981 and 1995 as a Miami-Dade Assistant County Attorney and has since represented taxpayers in property tax matters.
